Hello, Monday! (August 10th, 2009)
Well, I see that all of my finger crossing worked! What a beautiful weekend!
Monday. The start of another workweek. Maybe you’ve got the Monday blues. Maybe your head is still in bed...
The ball is officially rolling, people! With construction of the Eco Park scheduled to start in the next few months, we are going to be a busy lot here, but I’ll make time to keep you all updated and informed about our going-ons, no matter how busy I get.
I told you I had a surprise for you, and I'm a woman of my word.
Over the past little bit, I’ve told you about the EMC, and about myself. Well, today, I’m going to divulge some information about the Eco Park’s first official tenant! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is true. The Eco Park has signed its first tenant, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Cecil Mitchell founded Rainbow Net and Rigging in June of 1986 (Happy Belated 23rd Birthday!). Rainbow Net and Rigging is a major service provider to the aquaculture industry; between 25-65% of its revenues have derived from aquaculture since conception.
The company is proposing a 20, 000 square foot commercial net recycling facility at the Kaizer Meadow Eco Park. Up to 12 people from the local community will be employed to clean and repair the nets, and additional drivers will be hired to transport the nets.
So Rainbow Net and Rigging will not only be the first official tenant of the Eco Park, they will also be creating jobs in the local economy! Hats off to you, Rainbow Net and Rigging! Welcome!
