Happy Friday!

E-mailPDFPrint

Well, well, well. Friday came. Can you believe it? I’m not complaining. But since the human mind has a tendency to wander away from the office and out of the window on Fridays, I thought I would mix it up a little bit. Our brains can work on Friday; they just need a little exercise.

The phaonmneel pweor of the hmuan mnid: I cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdgnieg.
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearcr at Cmagbride Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers of a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae.

The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Amzanig huh?

How are we feeling now? Awake? Ready to take on the day? I hope so! I hope you all make the best of your day, work hard so when you come in on Monday, there isn’t a stack of work glaring at you, making you feel guilty for you Friday-afternoon procrastination.

One more brainteaser, just to make sure you’re awake before I let you go.

A traveler starts a journey. For the first week he goes east. The second he goes in all directions. The third he flies up into the sky. In the fourth he comes back down. Who is the traveler? (Answer at the bottom of this post – don’t peek!)

If you don’t procrastinate, I salute you!

Happy Friday! Have a wonderful, productive day (and don’t forget to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it any comments)!

Answer: An iceberg – travels East as an iceberg, free flowing as water when melted, flies up to the sky when evaporated, falls back down as rain.
